LEGO® products need little introduction. Here's just a little fun facts about it. Did you know that LEGO® actually stands for "leg godt" in Danish, which can be translated to "play well"? If interpreted in Latin, "lego" could stand for "I build" or "I assemble". The concept of LEGO® has actually been around since 1934. WOW, that's a long time!

Much later on (well into the electronic age), LEGO introduced the LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Invention System (a.k.a. RIS) - which is an earlier incarnation of what we use to teach our students here at Creative Robotics Learning Center! Now commonly known as the Team Challenge Set (9794), the RCX set is very popular among hobbyists and advanced students alike.

Our comment:
